talk talk talk about it

According to a recent study Men do have trouble hearing women

It sounds like malarkey to me. I am guessing that it is some kind of wacky MRI study. I am going to have to find this issue of NeuroImage and look up Michael Hunter and perhaps Sheffield University in England.

If true it would explain a lot, though.

I wonder if they have looked at correlations between how long a man has been married and how well he can hear a woman's voice.

*laughing....(at fishlamp, too)*
Well, you know what my prediction would be. I'd surmise that there's an inverse correlation...the less a man can hear, the more years he's married. Oh, wait, I was going to give up being bitter for Lent this year.....

We have the opposite problem in our house. I am becoming an expert at "tuning out". I think it will help our marriage...

fishlamp: Oh no! It affects eyesight too!?

BBFK: Lucky for you lent isn't for months and months. W like bitter here. Coffee, dark chocolate, beer, olives, the rantchiladas are the house speciality. *wink* I'm sure that Hunnybun finds it adorable on you.

kat e: too funny. I think that was BBFK's strategy will a fella in the far far distant past. I tried it once myself but the gent in question was quite offended to have anyone not hang on his every word. Which cause me to recert to strategy #2: argue about everything.
